Aarupadai Veedu Medical College (AVMC) is situated at Kirumampakkam in Pondicherry. It was established in the year 2000 and is affiliated to Vinayaka Mission University (VMU), Salem.

Aarupadai Veedu Medical College offers five and a half year MBBS at the UG level. The college also offers three-year MD and MS at the PG level along with two-year Diploma courses.

• Candidates having a minimum of 50% marks in English and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology are eligible to take admission in MBBS.
• Admission in MBBS is done through valid score in NEET UG and through the merit list sponsored by the Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC).
• Candidates with an MBBS degree are eligible to take admission in MD/ MS/ Diploma courses.
• Admission to MD/ MS/ Diploma courses is based on the valid score in NEET PG.
